As part of the College’s ongoing investment in our staff team we are looking to appoint to this position in our Faculty of Land based & Equine. This area provides a broad curriculum covering a range of courses in a range of subjects including agriculture, arboriculture, countryside management, horticulture and floristry to name but a few.

Interviews for this role will be taking place week commencing 15 December 2025.

Duties
You will:
• Lead curriculum planning and development to ensure industry relevance.
• Monitor teaching standards through observations and training.
• Deliver up to 7.5 hours of high-quality teaching weekly.
• Oversee student performance and implement timely interventions.
• Provide pastoral and tutorial support.
• Build strong links with employers and professional bodies.
• Collaborate with internal teams to integrate digital and skills-based learning.

Person Specification;
The successful candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience, abilities and qualities will include:
• Must hold a teaching qualification (PGCE, CertEd, or equivalent) and have extensive experience in Further Education.
• A degree or relevant professional qualification in the subject area is essential.
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage performance, and support staff development.
• Experience in curriculum development, quality assurance, and strategic planning.
• Ability to analyse and use data to drive continuous improvement.
• Demonstrable evidence of improving learner achievement.
• Experience in an agricultural role or environment would be beneficial although not essential.
