Salary: £28,168 - £39,244 per annum, Academic Grade 4 - 13 (dependant on skills, qualifications and experience) 

Job Type: Permanent, Full Time 37hrs/52wks

Lecturer in Countryside Management – The Role:

Wiltshire College & University Centre is seeking a passionate and experienced Lecturer in Countryside Management to join our vibrant team. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and educate the next generation of countryside management professionals. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality teaching, develop innovative curriculum content, and support students in achieving their academic and career goals.

Located on a stunning 500-acre campus in the picturesque Wiltshire countryside, Lackham provides an exceptional environment for both teaching and learning. Our campus is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including a large Animal Centre and an advanced Agri-tech centre, ensuring that our staff and students have access to the best resources available.

Lecturer in Countryside Management - Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and effective lectures, workshops, and practical sessions in countryside management and related subjects.

Develop and update curriculum content to ensure it reflects current industry standards and practices.
Assess and evaluate student work, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
Mentor and support students, helping them to achieve their academic and career aspirations.
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive learning experience for students.
Engage with industry professionals and organisations to enhance the learning experience and provide students with networking opportunities. Participate in departmental meetings, professional development, and continuous improvement activities. 

 
Lecturer in Countryside Management – You:

We are looking for candidates who are not only experts in their field but also enthusiastic about teaching and mentoring. The ideal candidate will have:

Educational Background: A relevant degree or level 3 vocational qualification in countryside management or a closely related field.

A teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one).

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to inspire and motivate students.

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Commitment to continuous professional development.
