About the Role:

•You will deliver across our expanding equine performance and coaching portfolio at undergraduate and postgraduate level, with a focus on developing student practical competency.
•You will have a passion for educating, influencing and enabling the next generation to fulfil their potential through supporting their development.
•The role will entail lecturing and module leadership, programme management and year tutorship.
•Teaching, research and knowledge exchange activities make use of our extensive equine facilities, which include the Equine Events Centre, Therapy Centre, Rider Performance Centre, championship arenas, and the equine yard which provides stabling for over 230 horses.

About You:

•You should possess a robust background in an equestrian performance setting. Perhaps you are seeking a career change into teaching with the aim of making a significant impact on the future careers of students entering the equestrian industry. Part-time contracts can be negotiated to work alongside your current business.
•You will be actively involved with the equine industry and hold recognised industry qualifications/standing.
•You will ideally have a post-graduate qualification in the field of equine or coaching related subject areas. You will be student focused and able to demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills.
•Previous teaching experience and a teaching qualification would be desirable, although training will be available if someone had significant industry and or research backgrounds.
