As a member of the college’s Learning Support Team, the Deputy head of LS and EHCP Lead will work alongside teaching staff, parents/carers and students. The underpinning value of the work is to ensure that every student achieves their potential through the provision of targeted support and intervention. Under the direction of the Head of Learning Support will contribute to all aspects of student’s wellbeing and achievement.
In accordance to the College’s mission and core values, the primary focus will be ensuring that every student achieves their learning potential. This will be achieved by managing their progression which will include an oversight of assessment, monitoring and target setting of individual students/groups.

Status: Permanent
Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday with flexibility to meet business needs.
Salary: £28,983 - £31,676 per annum which is scale Point 27 - 30 on the Weymouth and Kingston Maurward College Academic Salary Scales depending on experience.
