Floristry Teacher – Maternity Cover
The role:
We are seeking an experienced Floristry Teacher to support our small Floristry team by cover the maternity leave of the current post holder. The ideal candidate will have the ability to deliver high quality theory and practical session to a variety of students studying level 2 and 3.
This position is part-time covering up to 2 days a week on an hourly paid basis and will be fixed term until the end of July.
You will need professional floristry qualifications and recent experience of delivering and providing feedback for students studying formal floristry qualifications.

The college doesn’t hold a sponsorship licence therefore we are not open to candidates who require sponsorship under the points-based system.
Status: Fixed-Term until the end of July 2024
Hours: Up to 2 days per week (14.8 hours), Monday – Friday with flexibility to meet business needs
Salary: £23.36 - £29.09 per hour depending on skills and experience (£11.68 – £14.55 per hour for meetings/non-teaching activities and Staff Development). This equates to £21,325 - £29,046 per annum pro rata which is point L4b -L9c on the academic salary scale. Please note that there is no payment for ‘preparation time’ as this has already been accounted for within the hourly rate for teaching.
