About the role

We are seeking a visionary and dedicated individual to join our team as a Deputy Head within the Land Based Faculty, with a particular emphasis on Animal Care, Horticulture, or Countryside, experience around entry and level one provision an advantage. This role presents an exciting opportunity to lead and shape the educational experiences of our students in these areas.

Key Responsibilities:

Take charge of the daily operations within the designated area of Land Based studies, ensuring adherence to the highest standards of excellence.

Develop and implement an inclusive and engaging curriculum tailored specifically for learners in the field of Land Based Studies.

Collaborate closely with our passionate teaching staff to create dynamic and accessible learning materials that cater to our students.

Provide unwavering guidance and support to our learners, nurturing an inclusive learning environment that promotes growth, development, and success.

Forge strong partnerships with external agencies and professionals to ensure our students receive comprehensive support and access to relevant resources.

Play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction and continuous improvement of the Land-based Studies department, driving innovation and excellence.

About you

Qualifications and Experience:

A degree in Animal Care, Land Based Studies, or a related field.
A Level 5 teaching qualification or equivalent.
Proven experience working in an educational setting.
Demonstrated leadership and managerial experience.
Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
