Wiltshire College & University Centre have a great opportunity for a part time Lecturer in Land Based (Agriculture) to join our team.

Location: Lackham, Wiltshire

Salary: £28,168 - £39,244 per annum, pro rata (dependant on skills, qualifications and experience)

Job Type: Permanent, Part Time 22.5 Hours Per week, 52 weeks per year

Lecturer in Land Based (Agriculture) – The Role:

Set in 500 acres of Wiltshire countryside, our Lackham campus is home to a modern AgriTech Centre, a Robotic Dairy featuring market-leading robotics and software, and Home Farm where our dairy herd, flock of sheep, livestock and crop production are all based.

We are seeking a Lecturer in Land Based (Agriculture) to join our passionate and supportive team — someone who shares our enthusiasm for rural industries, sustainability, and innovation in modern farming.

Lecturer in Land Based (Agriculture) – Key Responsibilities:

As a Lecturer in Agriculture, you will play a vital role in preparing students for successful futures in the land-based sector. You will:

• Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons across a range of agriculture-related topics, such as livestock management, crop production, machinery operations, and agri-business from Level 1 through to Level 3.
• Inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential, using practical, real-world examples drawn from your own experience.
• Monitor and support student progress, providing constructive feedback and pastoral guidance.
• Collaborate with colleagues and industry partners to ensure our curriculum remains current and aligned with emerging agricultural technologies and practices.
